Yes, I have been in a bit of hiatus since the wedding post. After my friend’s wedding came to an end, I was busy in Vancouver with my old pals, running around playing catch up, watching football/soccer Euro Cup (especially Italian team), a few drinks here and there (really I don’t need to do a repeat of copious amounts at the wedding), lunch/dinners, “fitting in a friend”, and a lot of running around. I enjoy visiting with my friends and eating at wonderful restaurants in Vancouver but I don’t miss living there.

It freaks my friends out when I say, “It’s time for me to go home now, my new home.” Yes, my new home, where I have planted my butt and blossom into the scene of TO. So many things to do(literally), explore, and never a dull moment!! Plus over this past weekend, I was racing/paddling all weekend over at Toronto Islands with dragon boating and it was so much fun! I got back just in time to race. Two gold metals on Sunday one in the women’s team that I am in and the other team needed more paddlers (corporate team) that was co-ed. That was such a high and got to bring home some mad Bling!
