Pic of the Day! Guess who?? I miss the smell of the Westcoast!

The weather was a bit fickle but the sun did show up in the mid-afternoon. Still the die-hard day regulars show up and still enjoy the heated all year round pool! A relaxing hump day, connecting and socializing with friends around the pool deck is pretty awesome. Oasis is still a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Toronto. What better way to relax, chill, enjoy bar service, and connect with new people.

These days having my family around gives me a bit of an edge. Sometimes I’m feeling curt with people but it’s a lot of work hosting family at my house. Having to be on good daughter duties and that entails cooking, baking, cleaning, doing more house chores, and being a tour guide! Just on a break from them as they are enjoying the Ontario sites, catching up, working lots before I begin my travel abroad with family for the first half of June. My friend, Mia who will be guest blogging for me will cover the first two Wednesdays. It will be a great opportunity to see a different point of view and perhaps it will be nice to have guest writers to participate/write about their experiences at Hot Springs.

Last night after my dinner meeting and back at the club around 10PM, I decided that it was going to be a chill night, people watching and talk to some new people by the bar area. I love hearing about people’s story. How did they hear about the club, what made them decide to come to a club like Oasis, and how they negotiate play. I did find one fellow very interesting and something that I have never seen at any lifestyle event before. This fellow, was carrying a few (new) packaged sex toys. Totally “Geeking” out with the one and only Reid Mahalko!

WOW! That was a busy day and night! We did run out of lockers at some point in the night and it was busy everywhere despite the well attended workshops by Sex and Consciousness Toronto special guests Reid Mahalko, Lawrence Lanoff, and Monique Darling. Overview on Hot Springs – May 8 2013

Sooooooooooo sorry that I didn’t write this sooner. First and foremost, I had my website upgrades and that entailed me going from WordPress.com to .org side. It’s been a bit of a process but managed. Thanks Dan! In between my Mother’s visit, I’ve managed to learn and use the calendar feature, plunking in all the events that is lined up and the media events that I am affiliated as well. This past Wednesday wasn’t as nice of a weather as last week but the party always is in the pool. The water is still warm and welcoming. The poor boys that I gave a tour around the club (a company that wants to do a documentary of the club) didn’t last long and meanwhile they should have stayed to talk to people and find out more details. The best people to talk to at that time was in the pool but I am sure they would be more then happy to talk to them if they were naked in the pool. Finally the fabulous sunshine greeted everyone on May Day! May Day! I arrived mid-afternoon to find about at least a dozen people out by the pool sun bathing and flirty times in the pool. Gaia Morrissette taught her workshops in the late afternoon and one in the evening. I didn’t get the chance to sit in the Male Ejaculation Mastery but I did get the chance to be in the evening one about Making your Partner Scream! It’s been one of those wonky weeks(blame it on the full moon) and all I wanted to do was go and relax at Oasis. Decided to go about mid-afternoon and meet up with Mr Chef. These days he has a lady friend that has been accompany him so I haven’t seen much of him. None the less, I still like him as a friend so that doesn’t change anything.

Fionna Flauntit and I had an impromptu meeting with the Mill Street Brewery Boys. We are planning to do a summer launch pool party + bikini contest + beer tastings + Jagermeister tasting (they are on-board too)!! Saturday, June 15!! Mark your calendars!!

The weather is finally warming up in Toronto! Thank goodness that I missed the last snow storm while I was away. The party was in the pool and even at few points in the night on the dance floor. Finally a day with no meetings or anything at the club and all I had to do was show up with my sarong ready for the sarong party. It’s an easy theme. The weather gods hasn’t really cooperative and our spring is rather delayed. I wonder if that is why our attendance is slightly lower than usual. Sometimes it does prevent people to coming out. Crossing my fingers for the warm weather and lay by the pool naked to tan.

Personally my own experience at the club that day was tame (not as wild and crazy night that lead to wee hours in the morning). The night-time pool dip was indeed refreshing talking to some friends and new people joining Hot Springs for first time. I got some new Oasis Aqualounge pool update. Once the weather is warm, they can rip up the deck to check on the pipes for better repairs. Due to January 2013 combination of crazy party and cold weather freezing up the pipes due to water shortage, the pipes have leaks so the power of vacuum suction has air leaks. Also we will be changing the white vinyl seating areas to be wider (the seats are narrow at the moment) and changing the seats to be easier-to-clean-material & waterproof. I did hear plans on extending the deck but we also have to think of something that is less slippery over the winter. **Remember don’t run around the pool, don’t want to slip and injure yourself. **

Pheff, getting caught up with a lot of administration for the club, organizing details for future events at Hot Springs, and all the things that lead up for MsKitty. Once I got to the club, it’s nice to see some familiar faces that I haven’t seen in a while and greetings of big hugs at the door.
